New forging process of hand tool products
Jul 31, 2018

With the constant improvement of product requirements, the forging requirements of hand tools are becoming more and more high, and many advanced forging process methods have appeared.

The main features of the device is to make the shape of the forging parts close to the shape of the part, so as to achieve less cutting or no cutting purposes, improve dimensional accuracy and surface quality, improve the mechanical properties of forging parts, save metal materials, reduce production costs, improve labor conditions, greatly improve productivity and  meet the requirements of customers.

In general, it can be divided into three types:

1. precision die forging

This is an advanced process for forging high precision forgings. It can directly forge parts with complex shapes, smooth surface, no need for cutting or only a small amount of cutting.

2. extrusion

Extrusion is a method to reduce the cross section and increase the length of the blank under the effect of strong pressure, which makes the blank out of the outlet or gap in the mold.

3. rolling and forging

Under the action of rotating roll, the metal billet produces continuous plastic deformation, so as to obtain the required cross-section shape and change its performance, which becomes rolling and forging. Steel ingots can be rolled into various raw materials such as plates, pipes and profiles by rolling and forging.
